...взял исходный видеофайл test720p.mpg и пожал при помощи TMGP Express & Elegard Converter в формат AVC/H.264 с тем же битрейтом.
размер файла получился около 13 мегабайт в обоих случаях.
использовал контейнер mp4, так же как и в случае х264 benchmark.
Почему тогда размер файлов, получаемых в результате кодирования кодером х264 в данном тесте, 32 мегабайта?! то он округляет размер до ближайших 32х?! то ли битрейт на самом деле выше, и потому и качество лучше.
