Can you explain what it means?! Unfortunaltly I`ve never been in enlish-speaking countries...

As PSV just said "Thou" is an old english word which means "Ты" while "You" means "Вы". So its my stylish slight unrespectable manner of speech. :D

Who is satisfied in the final of World Cup ? It seems I do, anyway it is better than nothing )) All my favourite teams got lost unfortunately, fated to support France :) And of course we have very interesting match: Germany - Portugal, I hope in this case Germany will lead finally.

Is this topic only for foring visitors, or everyone could partisipate?

By the way, english prononsation is so disgusting, espessially their sound "r". Why this awful language is considered to be an "International language"? Maybe it is much easier to diffrent tribes from africa or popuans, which know only primitive animal-like ways of communication, to learn it, then other languages? Or maybe, because americans think, that they had already conqured the whole world? Anyone could explane it to me?

In my opinion, the discusion in litirature russian wil be more usefull. Many chatters don't use basic rules of russian grammar, and reeding such posts, even if they contain a lot of usefull information, you will soon start doing the same stupid mistakes like wellknown "жи\ши". For example, I think, that my russian grammar was not very good, and it would become worse. I don't want start talking like illiterate men from markets.

P.S Sorry for my english. I know, that it is poor/

American pronunciation is disgusting, not English. There already were some brave ones who tried to discuss literary russian in that conference, but they were quickly suppressed by hordes of ignorants. To point at mistakes in posts in russian is considered smartassing and subject to ban here ;) So, if you're literate — be quiet here, do not show off) But that thread is not like the rest of the oc forums, people who were repressing the revolted literates ususally don't know a word of foreign languages, so.. so maybe you're right, we should discuss russian language problems, but here, in english! :D

Anoss Good idea.... I was not speeking about the whole forum, but only one little topic. Maybe you are right, most of replays will be correct, but stupid.

Simple error check, implanted in conferens engine, helps to avoid different misprint and shows on some lack of commas. A text without a punctuation marks is hard to read, or some times, to understand. Also this messure will save time to people, who make a lot of misprints( like me). It is so idly for many to check post in office.

Anouther case: "people", who adviselly distort russian language. Is it allowed in oc forum?

The problem for me, that I was not so good at russian, as I wanted to be. And ignorant posts make all of us to forget our normal Russian language.

The easiest way to avoid misprints is to read your post prior to posting ;)

Error checking could be rather simple for english, but not for russian.. that's a really huge dictionary and too much pressure on forum engine. And punctuation checking is stupid even in Word..

No, no, it's not allowed, they're penalized

I'm afraid that the only solution, again, is to read less forums but more books)

I was talking either about a link in answer form to a little plug-in for user's browser, nor checking error by server. It is much more convenient, then using open office or ms office word.

What makes you think that?

Barely. When was the last time somebody got a yellow card for purposely incorrect grammar and spelling?

Come on man, how hard is it to push 4 extra buttons? :)

Yeah and the french and the english/americans think that russian/spanish "r" is ridiculous
