I have a question regarding the work of this forum

OK, so here i have a sony vaio notebook which has a power saving feature that disconnects power to fan when a cpu is not loaded to 100%. But most of the time i feel how the bottom part of notebook gets very hot so i decided that i need the fan to run all the time. i called sony support and they said that i need to update my bios and disable power saving feature. i went to sony web site and installed latest bios, but now when i turn on my note book the fan does come on, but there is nothing on screen. and my question is how to install a bios so that both screen and fan work?

BenQYou sure that you installed the right BIOS?
I'm afraid that you istalled the BIOS not from your notebook, in this case only technician with professional equipment can help you.

in tech support they said that i will not be able to install a bios that doesnt suit my notebook so i went for it

A don't think it's possible to rollback you BIOS, without a "programmator"

It's a serious operation, only proffesional can do it

Can someone in Russia do this for me
I'm right now in Ukraine on a business trip, but i can send it to any one in Russia who is willing to restore my notebook. If anyone agrees, i will put more info here
