Всем привет.
Хочу расказать вам (не без определенного денежного интереса), что есть путь взять практически любой ксеон (1333) и поставить его на плату LGA775.
Главное чтобы она поддерживала квадкоры (смотрим в спецификациях).
Все что нужно сделать это чуток подрезать плату как рассказано тут:

И сделать самому или купить переходник, который перекидывает два пина на процессоре:

Весьма и весьма впечатляет.
Итого за 60$ можно заиметь неплохой Х5460 на вашей плате с ЛГА775 ))
Лично у меня стоит L5430.
У меня он встал без всяких прописываний кодов в биосе и прочих проблем.
Я прогнал инстеловский тест для процессоров просто убедиться что все что есть работеает ОК.
У меня есть куча таких адаптеров, которые я продаю на ибее (у меня там такой же ник как и на форуме) а так же могу продать за вебмани в России.
Письмо с адаптером посылаю из Израиля. До Москвы доходит за неделю (вроде как), ну а если вы живете где-то подальше, то дольше конечно.

Повторяю - адаптер не обязательно покупать, можно сделать и самому.

За адаптер + пересылку прошу 10$.

Интересно будет послушать мнение людей по поводу разгона таких процессоров (стоит ли вообще).

Нет, прошит модифицированный с ideafix, все инструкции и динамический множитель имеются.


Так же имеется е5420, который плата при разгоне до 400 шины держит в 3Ггц, насколько есть смысл ставить его,а не x5460?

На данный момент испробовал все прошивки биоса для abit ip35, содержащие микрокоды для ксеонов (со слов авторов, конечно), в том числе и от ideafix.
Сейчас установлена 18_бета_модифицированная (от ideafix).

MSI g41m-p26 + Xeon E5420 нет SSE4.1 и VT-x инструкций (((
Стартовал с флешки при помощи утилиты M-Flash с модифицированным БИОСом - инструкций не добавилось.
К тому же проц не гонится (((

память 4Gb DDR3-1333. Система в данное время используется. ОС Windows 7 x64

Отсюда вопросы: Какой из Зеонов подойдет под мою мат плату
и насколько повысится производительность в играх?
В целом почитав FAQ осознаю, что могут возникнуть не решаемые технически проблемы с установкой Зеона
как нестабильность системы, ошибки в работе, повышенные температуры CPU, BSODы и т.д. - отсюда вопрос, стоит оно того чтобы заморачиваться или собрать новую систему допустим на I3 или аналогичном процессоре?

Для неё хватит и топ из Core2Duo. Мой Е5450, редко грузится более 55% на максималках (в. синх 60) а вот карта около 85% часто. Для других игр (мафия3, кризис3, вач догс...) проца явно не хватает.

Да. Если карточка сейчас маломощная, снизь настройки графики на минимум (ползунки все влево, но в настройках, графика должна быть выбрана "улучшенная", а не "стандартная") и через MSI Afterburner смотри на каком фпс будет упароваться проц и будет ли его вообще достаточно.

Насколько можно разогнать e5450 на мат. плате asus p5kpl/1600?? Или нет смысла гнать из-за чипсета?

Люди что делать мать asus p5g41t-m lx3 поставил проц e5450 с ним включается с 10 раза и когда включаю работает винда норма но вскоре падает нагрузка на проц до0% со старым процессором такого нет старый dual core e6700 и да температура не выше 35 без нагрузки смотрел в aida64 и в биосе блок на 400ват что делать помогите пожалуйста

И когда зажимаю кнопку на мышке и вожу то процессор уже нагпужается до 2-6% а когда отпускаю падает к 0%

Друзья, есть материнка Biostar G41D3C. Подскажите, какой нибудь Xeon на ней реально все же завести?
На страничке IdeaFix написано "Данные платы имеют двухфазную систему питания и жесткое ограничение по TDP. К использованию с Xeon не рекомендуются...", хотя Биос модифицированный имеется.
Судя по нескольким комментам на форуме, при установке E5450 ругается на превышение TPD, может кто то победил?

Скоро приедет E5450(по другую мать заказывал), попробую на этой завести. Если не пойдет, поэкспериментирую с L5430, там все таки 50 TPD.
Просто жалко, мать рабочая, для дачи пойдет, хотелось бы что нибудь получше C2Duo туда воткнуть.

Tooku44 биос прошил? у меня такая же точно мать и всё работает без проблем, даже модбиос под неё на флешке лежит где-то

Подскажите пожалуйста? Q9550 можно проапгрейдить на что-то лучшее за разумные деньги? Как я понимаю, его прямой аналог - это Х3363. Важное условие - мат.плата на Х48 чипсете. Я поглядел - нашёл только Х3370 и Х3380, но цены на них на том же Али заоблачные.
И ещё вопросец. Стоит E5440 на ASUS P5B. Меня немного смущает, что температура с датчика CPU на 10-12 градусов выше, чем с датчиков CORE. Это нормально? И по какой температуре ориентироваться в отношении перегрева?

Насчёт 41 чипсета - можно ставить L54xx - там есть приемлемые варианты. Я на несколько таких плат ставил копеешный L5408. :) Слегка подразогнать - и ничего, нормально работает, шустрит.
