Есть ли бонусы на линуксе?
Почему долго на диск записывается посчитанный результат: ~40Мб за 10 минут? А затем после отправки еще 10 минут чем-то занимается?

Поискав в интернете ничего путного не нашёл. До этого всё прекрасно работало. С ядром а4 сталкиваюсь в первый раз. Помогите решить проблему.

Информация:
После того как fah скачал ядро у него прова 750 владелец я, группа пользователи.
Если файлу а4-го ядра изменить chmod 777 вывод не меняется - bash: ./FahCore_a4.exe: не могу запустить бинарный файл

Думаю, что на этот вопрос могут ответить только авторы программы :-) . Очень похоже на какой-то глюк, ведь в каждой программе есть хоть одна ошибка :haha: .
Если есть возможность, поставь wine и считай под wine-ом виндовым клиентом SMP-жабы: ППД будет раз в несколько поболее.

Всегда. SMP задания (точнее счетные ядра) только под x86-64 системы.

Скормил каждое из предложенных тобою ядер по отдельности клиенту. Ошибка таже самая. Посмотрел через MC по F3 эти ядра, там тоже самое что и в моём - x86-64.
Линух выдаёт:

Как я понимаю потому-что ядро откомилено под другую архитектуру. Иначе выдавало какую-нибудь информацию как другие ядра.

после того как задание досчитывается, результат отправляется, а новое не скачивается пока не перезапущу клиент. файерволов и всякого такого не стоит, все остальное работает нормально, инет не пропадает

Идей, почему так происходит, нет (может kernel кривой или ещё что), но попробуй по этой методике организовать автозапуск, если и будут потери времени, то существенно меньше и не надо вручную запускать.

У меня похожее на генте было пока сервис nscd не поставил. Можешь попробовать он маленький.
Если не поможет, для теста можно проксю поставить любую и по логам глянуть почему не качает/виснет.

Похоже проблему они решили, залив 32-битную версию а4.

без nscd у меня клиент при попытке соединения вылетал давно уже

собственно понятно, что ему не нравится, но даунгрейдить glibc - не вариант

Пробовал всё ядра с a4 в названии. Перелез на оф.форум. http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 41#p173741 там как я понял сказали что проблема с одним из серверов который распределяет задания.

Ты прав, после удаления ядра и запуска клиента, он скачивает ядро опять. Но тоже самое ) Сейчас жду что ответят учёные.

Зависит ли разрядность версии Ubuntu и версии wine в F@H?
Вчера подправил конфиг на машине, теперь получает 6900 задания, но 1% считает ПОЛТОРА часа на i7-860 (неразогнаном). Запуск под wine, Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit. Видел на 1% уходит 32 мин на 6 ядерном зеоне у камрада BOSUM, до 3,8 ггц разогнаном.
Полагая почти линейную зависимость от ядер и частоты на одинаковой архитектуре, имеем: 8 ядер на 2,8 ггц (+133 мггц с турбобустом) против 12 ядер и 3,8 ггц. К-т пересчета равен 1,5*1,35 = 2. Т.е. один шаг должен считаться за 46 минут, а по факту в 2 раза больше. И мнится мне, в 6 дневный дедлайн я не пролезу..... куда копать, камрады?
