В данной ветке обсуждаем проекты, которые не поддерживаются командой официально.

3) Я, к примеру, уже давно перестал кранчить (от слова Crunch) из-за каких-то благих целей, т.к. мне намного интересней соревнование. Поэтому для меня доводы "этот исследовательский центр лучше и престижней того" ничего не значат. Я почти полностью уверен, что все эти проекты не пытаются разработать химическое/биологическое оружие, т.к. для их разработки не требуется столько же ресурсов, сколько для их лечения. Поэтому можно считать, что для науки они несут одинаковую пользу (а скорее одиноково бесполезны, но время покажет..

4) Как я понимаю, в TSC всё ещё проблемы с серваком, поэтому предлагаю всем (всем кто хочет) параллельно ставить второй "счетчик" (так уже вроде бы много людей сделали, но не все).

А теперь самое главное:
Предлагаю вести в этом топике НОРМАЛЬНОЕ обсуждение различных проектов, описание их плюсов и минусов, сильных и слабых сторон. Если вы, к примеру, говорите, что для вас размер дистрибутива в 10 МБ это много, то объясняйте почему. Если вам не нравятся, что кандидат считается очень медленно или очень быстро, то объясните почему! Сообщения типа "а потому что мне так больше нравится" или "я умнее и всё тут" не для этого топика!

И ещё раз: все обсуждаемые проекты должны обсуждаться не для замены TSC, а для параллельного кранчинга, в случае остановки TSC!

Важно знать:
Для проектов актуально проверить, выставлено ли в в ваших настройках учетной записи на оф. сайте проекта, что вы разрешаете использовать ваши данные о ваших набранных очках и компьютеров в различных сайтах статистики, таких как Boincstats.com. Это особенно касается проекта Einstein@home, который по умолчанию выставляет в настройках как "не разрешать публикацию данных". . Это было обновлением для проектов, согласно GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Поэтому сейчас и наблюдается ситуация в статистике, что считает, допустим, за проект 30 человек, а на сайте показывает, что только 4! Пожалуйста, проверьте свои настройки!

что-то sidock после тех работ на серверах штормит уже несколько дней Can't connect to database,пока перейду на другой проект

там вообще нет никакой обратной связи в проекте - они не пользуются никакими соцсетями, чтобы какие-то объявления повесить, что ведутся техработы, временный перебой итд. Единственный инструмент связи это форум на сайте, сайт лег и все.. Это уже 2ую неделю длится. на прошлых выходных на сутки врубился, потом снова на неделю лег. Единственный вариант связаться был форум boinc.ru (там hoarfrost обитает из Sidock). Вопрос задали..ждем ответ.

У WCG есть что считать? В клиенте задания не приходят, а у них на сайте не понятно где посмотреть статус серверов.

учитывая что последние сообщения там в 2024 не факт что ответят,странно конечно,надеюсь у них есть бэкапы рассчетов

BOINC Pentathlon 2026: четвёртый день, три дисциплины из пяти

С 5 мая идёт XVII BOINC Pentathlon — двухнедельный командный турнир от SETI.Germany. 14 дней, 5 дисциплин, 21 команда. Финиш — 19 мая 00:00 UTC.
Что уже работает прямо сейчас:

– Marathon — MilkyWay5–19 мая, все 14 дней. Чистый CPU: с 2023 года GPU-часть проекта закрыта, остался только N-body. Считают звёздные потоки и карликовые галактики, чтобы ограничить параметры тёмной материи и галактического потенциала. Для зачёта нужен credit, выданный во время окна — pending в счёт не идут.

– Steeplechase — PrimeGrid SR5 Sieve (5–12 мая, 7 дней). Подпроект-сито для Sierpinski/Riesel Base 5: ищет малые делители у кандидатов формы k•5^n±1, чтобы убрать их из дальнейшего LLR-теста. CPU only. Внутри окна — два случайных бонусных дня с множителем 20%, 30% или 50%; даты не объявляются заранее. Чтобы задачи пошли в зачёт, в Project Preferences PrimeGrid нужно вручную выбрать SR5 Sieve.
– Javelin Throw — SRBase, CPU only (старт сегодня). Пять однодневных «бросков», засчитывается третий по величине результат — стратегия важнее, чем выложиться в один день. Бросок 1: 8–9 мая, бросок 2: 9–10 мая, остальные три объявят по ходу.

Sprint и City Run пока не объявлены — стандартный формат Pentathlon, проекты сообщают за 3 дня до старта дисциплины.

Как влиться сейчас. Завести аккаунт на milkyway.cs.rpi.edu и primegrid.com (для Javelin — на srbase.my-firewall.org), прикрепиться к любой зарегистрированной команде. На PrimeGrid отдельно поставить галку SR5 Sieve в настройках проекта, иначе подпроект не приедет. BOINC-клиент за тебя поставит и настроит ИИ-агент с доступом к терминалу — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor.

Про астрономический проект распределённых вычислений Asteroids@home

За 14 лет существования проекта посчитаны пока только 4210 из 10757 моделей, параметров астероидов. Результаты работы над проектом доступны всем по ссылке: damit.cuni.cz/
